In Boys Groups Delhi bacame overal Champion followed by Punjab as Runners up & in Girls group Punjab became Team Champion followed by Maharastra as Runners up. Padam Shree Satpal awarded the medals and Trophy to the winners along with Shri Ashok Kumar Tripathy, IAS , Engineer S.S. Harichandan, Shri N.M. Nanda, Shri Shivananda Ray, etc. as the Guest of Honours. The Championship was organised by Dept. of School & Mass Education, Govt. of Orissa in association with AOKA under the agies of SGFI. Though it is a programme taken by the Govt. of Orissa, unfortunately no financial sanction is made to meet. the expenditure inspite of several requests and meetings.

Rather AOKA has made the payment of about Rs. 40,000/- to Dept. of Sports & Youth Services, Orissa to accomodate. the participants Boys & Girs in Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, says Shri Shivananda Ray, Co-Chariman, Organising Committee. However the entire arrangements made from own sources and with the commitment supports from VEDANT, OMC, NALCO, TATA, BILT, SAIL, Pumas International, Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar, Padhee Tutorals, Hightec Medical Institute, etc. and well appreciated.
